Stewart Richardson TechIosh (Managing Director)
Stewart Richardson comes from an ex military and mountain rescue background serving 12 years as a section commander in the Royal Engineers seeing service in Germany, Falkland Islands and Northern Ireland at the hight of the troubles. On leaving the Royal Engineers Stewart made a career in the outdoor industry becoming a fully qualified Winter Mountain Leader (WML) and Overseas Expedition Leader and walking guide and Ex member of Galloway Mountain Rescue Team. When not working as a first aid trainer Stewart other job is working as an overseas expedition leader guiding and managing groups in the wild and remote places. This gives Stewart a very unique and rounded skill set and the ability to pull on many years of experience in many demanding situations with real life casualties. Working with many industries and organisations give Stewart the ability to tailor courses to peoples own working backgrounds this helps to contextualise courses and make them as relevant as possible. As an ex section commander working with heave plant on construction site and real life casualty evacuation with Mountain Rescue and as an expedition leader means Stewart can pull on a vast wealth of nowlage to pass on during our training courses. Stewart holds a NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and a
Diploma in applied health and safety.
